The Supreme Court of India has announced a recruitment drive for 90 Law Clerk-cum-Research Associate positions. The application process commenced on January 14, 2025, and will conclude on February 7, 2025.

 

Law Clerk-cum-Research

The selection comprises three stages:

 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (including Integrated Degree Course in Law) from an institution recognized by the Bar Council of India for enrollment as an Advocate. Final-year law students are also eligible, provided they can furnish proof of graduation before commencing the assignment.
  • Age Limit: Applicants should be between 20 to 32 years of age as of February 7, 2025.

Selection Process:

The selection comprises three stages:

  1. Part I: Multiple Choice Questions assessing legal knowledge and comprehension skills.
  2. Part II: Subjective Written Examination evaluating analytical and writing abilities.
  3. Part III: Personal Interview for candidates shortlisted from the written examinations.

Parts I and II will be conducted on the same day across 23 cities in India.

 

Application Fee:

A non-refundable fee of ₹500 plus applicable bank charges is to be paid online through the UCO Bank payment gateway. No other payment modes are accepted.
