This Special TET is conducted to address the shortage of Language-I teachers in Bodo, Garo, Manipuri, and Hmar medium elementary schools across Assam.

The examination is conducted as per NCTE guidelines under Section 23 of the RTE Act, 2009, and is mandatory for candidates aspiring to become teachers at the elementary level in Assam.

Purpose of Special Assam TET 2026

The Special Assam TET 2026 aims to:

Levels of Special Assam TET 2026
