    Educational Qualification:
    Drugs & Narcotics Division:M.Sc. in Chemistry or M.Sc. in Forensic Science with specialization in concerned subject.

Toxicology Division: M.Sc. in Chemistry or M.Sc. in Forensic Science with specialization in concerned subject.
 

Biology Division: M.Sc. in Botany or M.Sc. in Zoology or M.Sc. in Anthropology (Physical) or M.Sc. in Biotechnology or M.Sc. in Forensic Science with specialization in concerned subject.

2. Scientific Officer for Regional Forensic Science Laboratories at Silchar, Tezpur, Bongaigaon, Dibrugarh and Jorhat respectively under the Directorate of Forensic Science, Assam

Drugs and Narcotics Division: M.Sc. in Chemistry or M.Sc. in Forensic Science with specialization in concerned subject.

 

 

Eligibility Criteria:-

 

Age Limit:

The Candidates Should Not be less Than 21 Years of Age and Not more than 38 Years of Age as on 1st January 2025.

 

  • For ST Candidates: 05 Years+
  • For SC Candidates: 05 Years+
  • For OBC Candidates: 03 Years+

  • OBC Candidates: Rs. 197.20/- Rupees.
  • MOBC Candidates: Rs197.20/- Rupees.

PERSONS WTH BENCHMARK DISABIL1TY PwBD)
Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) as indicated against various item(s) in the VACANCY DETAILS can
apply to the respective posts even if the post is not reserved for them but has been identilied as Suitable. However, such
candidates will be considered for selection to such post by general standard of merit. Persons suffering from not less than
40% of relevant disability shall alone be eligible for the benefit of reservation and other relaxations as permissible under the
rules. Thus, Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) can avail benefit:
(i) Reservation and other concessions and relaxation as permissible under the rules only when degree of
physical disability is 4070 or more and the posts are reserved for PWBD candidates.
(ii) Other Concessions and Relaxations as permissible under the rules only when degree of physical disability is
40% or more and the posb are suitable for PwBD candidates.
