Supreme Court of India (SCI) Recruitment Cell has published employment notification for engagement of 90 Law Clerk cum Research Associate positions on contractual assignment basis for the assignment term 2025-2026. Eligible Law Graduate Candidates fill Online Application Form from 14th January to 7th February 2025.
SCI Law Clerk Age Limit:
Minimum 20 years and Maximum 32 years as on 7th February 2025.
The Age relaxation as per Government rules.
SCI Law Clerk Salary
The SCI Law Clerk cum Research Associates monthly salary as ₹ 80,000/- per month.
SCI Law Clerk Eligibility Criteria:
(1) Bachelor’s degree in Law (B.L.) or equivalent (including Integrated Degree Course in Law) from any School/College/University/Institution established by law in India and recognized by the Bar Council of India for enrolment as an Advocate.
(2) The candidate studying in the 5th year of the 05 years Integrated Law Course or the 3rd year of the 03 years Law Course after graduation in any stream will also be eligible to apply.
(3) The candidate must possess research and analytical skills, strong writing abilities, and proficiency in using computers to retrieve information from search engines and databases like e-SCR, Manupatra, SCC Online, LexisNexis, and Westlaw.
SCI Law Clerk Selection Process:
The SCI Law Clerk selection process shall be conducted in three phases:-
✔️ Part I – Multiple Choice Based Questions, testing the candidates’ ability to understand and apply the law, and comprehension skills;
✔️ Part II – Subjective Written Examination, covering writing and analytical skills;
✔️ Part III – Interview.
SCI Law Clerk Application Fee:
✔️ ₹ 500/- plus bank charges.
✔️ The fee shall be paid online through Payment Gateway provided by UCO Bank

➢ Eligible and Interested candidates should apply online through SCI Law Clerk 2025 Online Application portal open from 14th January 2025.
➢ The Candidates need to provide basic, personal, and educational details.
➢ Upload scanned copy of required documents – Photograph, Signature, ID Proof etc.
➢ The Candidates are advised to keep a printout of the completed application form for their records. There is no need to send the printout to the Registry.
➢ The last date for online application registration is 07/02/2025 up to 11:55 PM.
