This will reduce the hassle of students submitting separate applications for different colleges. The portal will provide students with an option to submit applications for admission to a maximum of 10 institutes. Also, it will solve the overlapping issue by allowing each student to take admission in only one institute. Similarly, this portal will help the institutions and governments to implement various welfare schemes directly.

Students should note that the well-known fee waiver scheme of the Government of Assam will be provided only to those students who will take admissions through the SAMARTH Admission Portal.
